After award at MAMI fest, ‘Haraamkhor’ awaits release

The film, which features actors Nawazzudin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi, is about 15-year-old Sandhya who is infatuated with her 35-year-old school teacher, Shyam.

“We were extremely excited to show the film to our Indian audience and I am elated with the response that we have received. After receiving such warm acknowledgments in international festivals, I am glad to receive this award at our very first Indian premiere, now we are looking forward to releasing the film soon,” Monga said in a statement.
