Aditya Chopra stepped in at the last minute to help complete KKHH’s ‘Ladki Badi Anjani Hai’, Lalit Pandit calls it ‘the most difficult song’

He added, “But this song was in the making when they had to leave for Ooty. We used to give some samples of the song, but we were not able to crack it. Finally, the day came when Karan also had to leave for Ooty to shoot the song. Then Aditya Chopra stepped in and told Karan, ‘You go ahead with your schedule and I will sit with Jatin-Lalit and send you the song.’ Thanks to Aditya Chopra, he sat with us and helped us made this song while Karan was shooting in Ooty.”

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was the blockbuster film of 1998, and its music played a pivotal role in its success. The songs from the movie achieved cult classic status and have become an integral part of Hindi-speaking culture. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kajol in lead roles.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 25 years of release on October 16. On the occassion, Karan took to Instagram to thank the audience. He wrote, “Thank you for showering unending love for this tale of pyaar & dosti till today and thank you for marking my journey as a filmmaker for 25 years with such warmth.
