After an extremely long wait (Raju Hirani took 5 years to make the film), Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ hits screens on Friday (December 19) and it is the big big release today.  Right from the time it was first announced, to Aamir Khan’s almost-naked poster catching our eye, lead actress Anushka Sharma’s pixie look and the catchy tunes that the makers released, ‘PK’ has succeeded in being the most-anticipated film of all time in B-Town.

Apart from the long wait, the makers have created immense curiosity and hype surrounding its release, especially since nobody really knows what the film is about. Some claim that Aamir Khan plays an alien, while others say he is a God Man in the film.

Shot in parts of Rajasthan and Delhi, ‘PK’ will also have Aamir Khan speaking in Bhojuri, which is bound to leave you quite impressed.

Anushka Sharma, who is also making a comeback on screen after a 2 year-long hiatus, will be playing a journalist, while ‘Kai Po Che’ actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen as her love interest. “I am playing a regular working woman in the film, something that I have played in most of my films. But she’s not a journalist just for the sake of it—she’s an idealist and is trying to adapt to the set-up. In the film, you see her emotional journey—this girl has seen things in life that has made her more mature,” said the actress in an exclusive interview with Screen.
