It has been eleven years since terror unfolded in Mumbai, leaving 166 people dead and over 300 injured. On November 26, 2008, terrorists attacked Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Oberoi-Trident, CST, Nariman House, Cafe Leopold and Cama Hospital in Mumbai.
On the eleventh anniversary of the deadly terror attack, Bollywood celebrities paid tribute to the fallen heroes who sacrificed themselves to safeguard civilians. Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Madhur Bhandarkar, Dia Mirza, Divya Dutta, Bhumi Pednekar and many others took to social media to remember those who lost their lives.
“Remembering our heroes of 26/11… Everyone who helped each other through the tough time.. My heart goes out to their courage and sacrifice and for all the innocent victims .. #MumbaiTerrorAttack,” Arjun Kapoor wrote on Twitter.
Amitabh Bachchan also saluted the sacrifice of the police officers and soldiers. Varun Dhawan, a proud ‘mumbaikar’, tweeted, “Will never forget 26/11. We have only grown stronger #mumbaikar #jaihind.”
