13 Years Of Devdas: Shah Rukh Khan ‘dubsmash’es his favourite dialogue from the movie

Shah Rukh Khan 'dubsmash'ed one of his most favourite dialogues from 'Devdas', as the movie completed 13 years today.

One of Shah Rukh Khan’s best works in his magnificient career ‘Devdas’ completes 13 years today and his fans and followers have been taking to Twitter to wish him on the anniversary.

The topic #13YearsOfDevdas also trended for a few hours last night.

SRK too joined the celebrations and has contributed in his own way. He ‘dubsmash’ed one of his most favourite dialogues from the movie, though finding it “strange to do” him by himself. SRK tweeted:

Released 13 years back, ‘Devdas’, based on a novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, tells the story of two childhood lovers who remain ununited all their life because of the difference in their ‘classes’. While SRK played the titular role of Devdas, Aishwarya Rai played Parvati/Paro, his lover. Madhuri Dixit played Chandramukhi, a dancer who falls in love with Devdas and Jackie Shroff played Chunni Babu, friend and confidante of Devdas.

The novel has been adapted into a movie many times, including Bimal Roy’s ‘Devdas’ (1955) starring Dilip Kumar and Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Dev D’ (2009) starring Abhay Deol.
