Beautiful and graceful Hina Khan has lived the life of a princess. Hailing from the picturesque Kashmir, the actor became a worldwide sensation with her first show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Her character Akshara is still loved and remembered even though she moved out of the serial months back. After becoming the first runner-up in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, Hina is all set to participate in Bigg Boss 11. Just moments before entering the house, Hina spoke exclusively to indianexpress.com to share, “I am really happy, nervous and anxious to participate in Bigg Boss. Since I managed to do so well, everyone was like this will be fun for you. Back to back reality shows can be tiring but I am looking forward to having a great time in the show.”
Stating that both reality shows are quite different, Hina quipped, “Khatron Ke Khiladi is all about performing tasks while in Bigg Boss you require a lot of endurance to survive long term. But yes, both of them need a strong will power and mental strength which I luckily possess. During KKK, I never knew I would be able to reach the finale and hence, I am going with the flow with Bigg Boss too. All I want to do is make friends and spread some love in the house.”
Hina may be a public figure but the actor said that she will be her real self in the reality show. She also shared that she has no qualms in staying under the same roof as the commoners. “Before anything, we all are humans and I don’t think our celebrity status should come as a barrier in interacting with the commoners. All said and done, I will definitely stand up for myself and voice my opinion whenever required.” Referring to Priyanka Jagga and Swami Om’s rowdy behaviour last season, she added, “I think whatever happened last year will be well taken care of this time by the makers. I am sure the commoners would have been warned to be civil in their behaviour.”
Excited to perform with host Salman Khan, Hina said that she believes that she will maintain her grace during the entire course. With a sad tone in her voice, she further averred, “I will really miss my family and of course, will miss Rocky (rumoured beau Rocky Jaiswal) the most. He is my greatest strength and I really hope he will get a chance to surprise me in the house sometime soon.”
The actor concluded the conversation saying that she will not take up any more reality show as of now. “It’s not that I have been bitten by the reality bug as I am really looking forward to doing a good fiction show soon.”
