WB Police Constable Answer Key 2025 Released: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has published the provisional answer key for the Constable and Lady Constable Recruitment Exam 2025, held on November 30. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can now check the provisional answer key provided on the official website at wbprb.gov.in.
The state-level written test was conducted for 11,749 vacancies and comprised 85 objective questions from English, General Awareness, Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics.
Candidates can check and download the provisional answer key by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of WBPRB at prb.wb.gov.in, or wbpolice.gov.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the Recruitment, and then in Latest Updates’ notice section and find the link titled “Constable 2025 Answer Key.”
Step 3: Select the link for the relevant shift or category to open the PDF.
Step 4: Download and save the answer key for reference.
Step 5: Access your response sheet to compare answers.
Candidates who spot any discrepancies in the provisional key can file objections within seven days from the date of release. According to the WBPRB notice, objections must be emailed to ‘answerkeywprb10@gmail.com’, clearly mentioning the question number, the issue identified and supporting justification or references. The board will not accept submissions sent after the deadline.
All valid objections will be reviewed before the final answer key and results are prepared, the board has said.
The paper carried 85 marks and had a 60-minute duration. Candidates will receive one mark for every correct response, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted questions carry no penalty.
The provisional key enables candidates to estimate scores, identify errors and prepare for the upcoming PMT and PET rounds. Final results and category-wise cut-offs will be announced later.
With the release of the provisional key, candidates can evaluate their performance and begin preparing for the next phases of the recruitment process. Once answer sheets are assessed, the WBPRB will publish the official cut-off scores, determined by exam difficulty, total applicants and category-wise norms. Those who qualify the written test will be shortlisted for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which form the next critical stages of selection.
