UPTET results 2016: The exam was conducted by the Uttar Pradesh government on February 2 at 1,128 centres

UPTET results 2016: The UP Basic Education Board has declared the results of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET). The exam was conducted on February 2, 2016.

About 2,37,620 candidates appeared for the exam out of which 87,353 have managed to pass it. The result will be displayed till April 29 on UPTET’s official website, that is, http://www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in

The annual UPTET qualifies candidates to teach Classes 1st to 5th and upper primary Classes 6th to 8th in any government school and in participating in privately operated schools in Uttar Pradesh.

The candidates can attempt paper 1 to teach primary classes, paper 2 to teach upper primary classes or for both to be able to teach primary and upper primary.

The exam was conducted by the Uttar Pradesh government at 1,128 centres.
