TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2025: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued a second supplement to the Integrated Civil Services Examination – Batch IV 2025, announcing 645 additional vacancies. This brings the total number of posts to 5,307, significantly expanding opportunities for aspirants seeking government jobs in the state. The initial notification, released on April 25, 2025, had listed 3,935 vacancies across roles such as Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant, Typist, Stenographer, and Forest Guard.

A first supplement on September 26, 2025, had already added 727 posts before this latest update. The rise in vacancies this year is particularly significant. On average, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) filled around 3,560 posts per financial year in 2022 and 2024, excluding Forest Guard positions. In contrast, the 2025 notifications reflect an increase of 1,541 vacancies.

On the other side, the Commission has released the annual exam calendar for the 2026 academic session, announcing the schedule for major recruitment exams, including Group 1, Group 2, Group 2A and Group 4.

The Group 1 notification will be released on June 23, 2026, with the preliminary exam scheduled for September 6, 2026. For Groups 2 and 2A, the notification will be issued on August 11, 2026, and the preliminary exam will take place on October 25, 2026. Meanwhile, the Group 4 notification is set for October 6, 2026, and the exam will be conducted on December 20, 2026.

Also, the Commission has announced the Group 4 marks for the Combined Civil Services Examination-IV (Group-IV Services) 2025 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the 3,935 posts, including Junior Assistant and Village Administrative Officer, can check their scores online.

Those shortlisted in the written exam will proceed to the Certificate Verification round, scheduled from December 8 to 18, 2025. Applicants who successfully registered for these posts can also download the TNPSC Group 4 Admit Card 2025 from tnpsc.gov.in.
