The Telangana SSC (Class 10) exam has registered 85.63 pass percentage which is about eight per cent higher than the 2015’s results (77.56 per cent).
Girls outshone boys with a 86.57 pass percentage compared to 84.70 per cent for boys.
According to news reports, as many as 5.19 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, about 3,419 students secured the 10 Grade Point Average (GPA).
The results were declared by the Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari today. While Warangal topped the list with 95.13 per cent of students passing the exam while Hyderabad figured at the bottom with 76.23 per cent.
Srihari said that 2,379 schools secured 100 per cent success while 10 schools registered zero per cent results.
The supplementary exams are scheduled to from June 15 to 29. The students need to download the applications from http://www.bsetelangana.org.
