RRB NTPC 2016: Over 34,000 candidates pass from Mumbai, check stage II exam details

RRB NTPC 2016: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the result of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts 03/2015 after a long wait. Almost three lakh candidates from across the country have cleared the exam.The results of the Mumbai RRB have also been declared. Candidates can check their results from the official website of RRB Mumbai by following the steps below.

From the Mumbai RRB, a total of 34,019 candidates have cleared the exam, which was conducted between March 28 and May 3 this year. It was a Computer Based Test (CBT).

Second stage exam:

The candidates who have passed will now be allowed to sit for the common second stage CBT exam, which is most likely to be held sometime in January-February, 2017, the official notification on RRB’s website states.

The selected candidates will be sent an email on their registered email address to download the admit card for the examination.

The second stage exam will most probably include topics such as General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The exam will be of one and a half hours (90 minutes) and will have about 120 multiple choice objective-type questions.

Steps to check the RRB NTPC Mumbai result 2016:

Log on to the official website of RRB Mumbai,

On the top of the page, go to the “Result” option from the top of the page.

A new page will open. Here, click on the link displaying “Click here to view provisionally shortlisted candidates for 2nd stage Examination (CBT)” against the “CEN No. 03/2015” EN No.

A new list will open. Check all details about the exam on this list. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for information regarding the second stage of the exam.

If you wish to see your individual result, then click on the link saying “Click here to view individual result and cut off marks”.

On the page that opens, enter your user ID and your user password which is your date of birth.

Your individual result will be displayed when you click on the “Login” button.

Check your result and take a print if necessary.

Important note:

Last date to check the result online is December 23, 2016, after which the result link will be disabled on the website.
