ONGC recruitment 2016: The Oil and Natural Gas Company (ONGC) is holding a recruitment drive to fill 417 engineer vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of the ONGC. The last date to apply is August 10, 2016.
Only the score the GATE – 2016 examination will be valid for the recruitment. The score of any other examination or GATE – 2015 will not be considered valid. The weightage of the GATE – 2016 score is 60 marks. The Interview process will carry 15 marks. 20 marks will be for essential qualification and five marks will be for additional in-line higher qualification.
Posts: The exam is being held for recruitment to Assistant Executive Engineer, Chemist, Geologist, Geophysicist, Materials Management Officer, Programming Officer and Transport Officer posts.
Eligibility: Various posts required different eligibility criteria in terms of education qualifications. Candidates need to log on to the official website of the ONGC to know more about the academic degree required. Even those who have passed their exams through the distance learning mode are eligible to apply.
Start of application process: July28, 2016 (12:00 pm onwards)
Last date to apply: August 10, 2016 (till 8:00 pm)
Uploading scanned copies of certificates and downloading the interview call letters: August 20, 2016 to August 28, 2016 (tentative dates)
Schedule of interview: September to October, 2016 (tentative)
How to apply:
Before applying, keep ready their GATE – 2016 registration ID and application ID. Candidates should have a valid mobile number, valid email ID, a scanned photograph and a scan of the candidate’s signature.
Candidates can apply through ongcindia.com. No other mode of application, whether through any other website of through offline mode, will be entertained.
