UGC NET December 2024 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude the application for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) today (December 11). Interested applicants have a last chance to apply at the official UGC NET website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Registration commenced on November 19. Earlier set to close on December 10, the UGC NET December 2024 application deadline is now December 11 (11.59 pm).
The exam is scheduled to be conducted between January 1 and January 19. Despite previous attempts, candidates will need to re-register with a new account and a fresh application number will be issued.

UGC NET December 2024 Registration: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the registration link on the homepage
Step 3: Fill out the application form and pay the application fee
Step 4: Click on submit to complete the application process
Step 5: Download the completed application form for future reference.
Candidates can correct their details in the online application form from December 13 to 14. After this period, the exam centre city will be notified, and admit cards will be released shortly thereafter.
The input was a screenshot of a UGC-NET paper circulating on a Telegram channel around 2 pm on the exam day (June 18), with messages and comments suggesting it was leaked before the first session. Later in August, the Agency re-announced the revised dates for the June session. UGC NET was then conducted between August 21 and September 4 in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
