Central University of Karnataka, Kadaganchi, will commence admission for its undergraduate programmes from May 21 this year. Currently, the university offers 15 under graduate programmes. The admission to the university will be done via CUET. In 2022, the centrally run Central University of Karnataka received 95,964 applications through CUET. 

Section 3 of CUET exam will be the General Test and add significant marks and chances to secure a high score. Various tips candidates candidates can keep in mind while preparing for General test are:-

Delhi University is likely to commence the admission procedure for undergraduate programme by May end. The university will conduct the admission process through CSAS system. The university will launch two separate portals for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. 

While the city intimation slip will release today i.e., May 14, the admit cards will be released 'three days before the actual date of examination.'

The highest number of application among central universities have been received by University of Delhi (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), University of Allahabad, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University and Jamia Millia Islamia.

Among different categories, a substantial growth was recorded in the number of candidates belonging to ST category from 58,881 candidates in 2022 to 95,119 candidates in 2023. The rise in number was witnessed by all categories.

Out of 13.99 lakh candidates, 6.51 lakh are female candidates and 7.48 lakh are male candidates. Last year, around 4.34 lakh students who applied were female and 5.56 candidates were male.

The Delhi University is planning to begin the admissions process for admissions to undergraduate programmes through the Common Seat Allocation System by the month’s end, a senior official said on Saturday.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recorded a total 16.85 lakh registrations for Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023. Out of these, 13.95 lakh have paid the fees and submitted the application form. There has been an increase of 4 lakh student registration from the debut edition of CUET in 2022, as per exam conducting body NTA.

The central universities in the northeast that are exempted from CUET UG 2023 are— Sikkim University, Rajiv Gandhi University, Manipur University, Assam University, Tezpur University, Nagaland University, Tripura University, Mizoram University, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU).

The university has 12 schools — School of Mathematics and Statistics, School of Chemistry, School of Humanities, School of Life Sciences and School of Economics to name some.

The university offers 16 programmes which would be conducted through CUET and the duration of each programme depends on it. The Integrated MSc Programme, which includes Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Applied Geology, Optometry and Health Physiology is of five years or ten semesters. The Integrated MA programmes like Telugu, Hindi are also of 10 semesters or five years, but programmes like Integrated MA in Anthropolgy is a six semester or a three year programme.

The city intimation slip was originally scheduled to release on April 30, but paying heed to the several requests by the candidates, the NTA decided to instead open the window for updating (adding / removing / changing) their test papers and adding courses / universities for a period of two days.

The CUET General Test 2023 encompasses topics related to current affairs, general knowledge, and quantitative reasoning. This makes it imperative for students to stay updated on current national and global developments. Reading newspapers and journals on a daily basis in this regard can help students stay informed and perform well in the exam.

Inspired by her school seniors, Shivanki Prasad always dreamt of studying at Delhi University. Central University of Jharkhand accepts all undergraduate admissions through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG for technical and non-technical courses. Currently, the university offers 24 integrated undergraduate courses.

The 24 integrated courses the university offers include – BTech-Mtech, BCom-MCom, BSc-MSc and BA-MA in various disciplines. The duration of the program depends from course to course.
