CUET Result Declared: 104 candidates score 100 percentile in four subjects, max high-scorers in English paper

CUET UG 2022 Result at The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result for Common University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) 2022 at 4 am today. Candidates who appeared in any of the six phases of the entrance test can download their scorecards at the official CUET UG website —  The NTA will use ‘equipercentile method’to calculate the marks of candidates

The race to Delhi University (DU) might get tougher this year as more candidates have scored 95 percentile in English than any other subject. 8,236 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile in English.

NTA conducted the first ever common entrance test for undergraduate admissions to universities between July 16 to August 30. A re-test was conducted on September 11 for considering the grievances of individual students. The provisional answer key was released on September 8. Candidates were given time till 5 pm of September 10 to challenge the answer key.

As per the official date, among all states, Uttar Pradesh had the highest turnout among all the states with 2,92,589 students appearing for the CUET. The second highest turnout was in Delhi with 1,86,405 students appearing for tests, followed by Bihar with 84,425. Meanwhile only 583 of 5,634 registered candidates took the test in Meghalaya logging the lowest attendance at 6.02 per cent. Overall 61.86 per cent candidates appeared in the CUET UG.

The entrance exam was held in 547 cities within India and in 13 cities outside India — Sri Lanka, Qatar, Doha, Indonesia, Nepal, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah and Singapore.

104 candidates score 100 percentile in four subjects and 12 score the same in five subjects

According to the results statistics released by NTA, 12 candidates have scored 100 percentile in five subjects. Khushi Sharma (roll no. HR03000918), Apeksha Sehgal (roll no. DL01241876), Sneha Dey (roll no. UP09001439), Sahaana Ramesh (roll no. UP09000353), Tanmay Singh Bhadawat (roll no. RJ07000405) are among the 12 candidates who have aced CUET. Congratulations to them!!

CUET UG 2022 Results Declared: Over 9.9 lakh unique candidates registered for the exam

A total of 9,90,469 unique candidates registered for the examination out of which 6,26,490 appeared for it. A total of 5,56,028 male candidates and 4,34,431 female candidates registered for the exam.

English paper has the highest number of 100 percentile scorers, followed by political science and business studies

Results statistics released by the NTA Friday night shows that the English paper has the maximum number of candidates (8,236) with 100 percentile score. Then political science has the second highest number (2,065) of 100 percentile scorers followed by business studies (1,669) and biology (1,319).

The National Testing Agency said in a statement that a total of 21,159 candidates have scored 100 percentile in different CUET papers. Of these, there are 12,799 women and 8,360 men.

CUET UG 2022 Results Declared: Over 7.56 lakh students chose English as a medium

Over 7.56 lakh students took the exam in English medium and over 2.16 lakh students took the examination in Hindi. Tamil was the third widest chosen language with 2,785 candidates appearing for the exam in that medium.

CUET UG 2022 Results: Students complain of being marked absent despite giving the exam

As the results have been declared for CUET UG 2022 some students have complained that despite writing the exam they have been marked absent in one or two papers. NTA DG Vineet Joshi has assured that they will look into the grievances of the students.

CUET UG 2022 results declared: JMI conducted CUET for 8 undergraduate programmes

CUET UG 2022 Results Declared: How to register for DU admissions

Steps to register for DU admissions:

Step 1: Go to official website of DU admissions

Step 2: Go to the CSAS 2022 dashboard

Step 3: The candidate  will also fill in the Program and College Combinations preferences for every Program selected by them.

CUET UG 2022 Results Declared: DU to conduct admission process in three phases

Delhi University has launched its admission portal, Common Seat Allocation System. The admission process in DU will be conducted in three phases, submission of the CSAS-2022 application form, selection of programmes, and filling of preferences, and seat allocation and admission. UGC Chairperson says universities to use normalised scores instead of percentile or raw marks

CUET UG 2022 Result LIVE Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has meanwhile reopened the application form correction window to provide an opportunity for candidates for making amends to their application forms till September 15, 5 pm. Candidates can make amends to their personal details such as name or mother’s name or father’s name, date of birth, gender, category, PwBD status and choice of universities during the process.
