The NEET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025 (Sunday) in offline (pen-and-paper) mode. It is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BSMS.
To access their NEET UG 2025 city intimation slip, candidates must follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official NEET website – neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link “Download NEET UG 2025 City Intimation Slip” under the candidate activity section
Step 3: Enter your login credentials, including application number and date of birth or password
Step 4: Download the slip and check the allotted exam city; save a copy for future reference

The city intimation slip is an advance notification to inform candidates of their exam city so they can make logistical arrangements. It is not the admit card, and does not include the exact exam centre or venue details. The official NEET UG 2025 admit card will likely be released next week, a few days prior to the exam date.

Candidates taking the NEET UG in 2025 will not get any optional questions and extra time introduced during Covid and exam will now revert to the pre-covid format. The optional section was introduced as a temporary measure to accommodate the challenges posed during Covid pandemic and has been in practice till 2024. NEET UG 2025 paper will now have 180 compulsory questions — 45 questions each in physics and chemistry and 90 in biology. Candidates will have to attempt the paper in 180 minutes.
