(Representative image/ file)NEET PG Counselling 2024 Reopens: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has reopened the application window for National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024. However, this window is only for postgraduate medical aspirants who wish to change their nationality from Indian to Non-Resident Indian (NRI).
Details about the application window are available at the official NEET PG website — mcc.nic.in. The window is open from 5 pm of November 1 till 5 pm of November 2. To make the change, candidates will have to send documents in support of their claim to change nationality from Indian to NRI through e-mail nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com.
— Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer).
— Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22-08- 2017.
— Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarised.
— Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (certificate from the Consulate issued within last six months).
— NEET score card of the candidate.
— Family tree notarised by Tehsildar
All certificates should be sent in English. If any certificate is in regional language, copy of it’s English translation should be enclosed.
Candidates are advised to send all documents enclosed in single mail only, within stipulated time. Candidates who had sent their NRI documents earlier and have been converted to NRI (please refer to the list of eligible candidates uploaded on MCC website) need not send their documents again.
