NEET PG Counselling 2023: Stray vacancy round schedule revised; registration extended till today

NEET PG Counselling 2023: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the stray vacancy round schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2023, and extended the deadline till 5 pm of October 12. Interested students can apply at the official website — mcc.nic.in.

“The Choice filling for Stray Vacancy Round was delayed since many PG DNB Institutes had not reported the candidates online. Hence, the competent authority has decided to extend the schedule for Stray Vacancy Round of PG Counselling 2023,” the official notice stated.

As per the revised schedule, the deadline for fresh and reset registration is 5 pm and 3 pm of October 12 respectively. The payment facility will be open till 7 pm of October 12. Choice filling will be available till 8 am of October 13 after it gets activated at 8 pm of October 12.

The seat processing will take place on October 13 and 14, following which the result will be published on October 15. Students will have time from October 16 till October 20 to report for stray vacancy round.

Meanwhile, MCC has also reduced the NEET PG 2023 qualifying percentile to zero across all categories, which means all candidates who appeared for the NEET PG 2023 exam will now become eligible to participate in the postgraduate medical counselling process.
