PM Modi to inaugurate permanent campus of IIM Bodh Gaya today
The institute's permanent campus features a library named 'Pragyata' with Open Source Software, and a sports complex with modern gym facilities.
The Bodh Gaya campus is equipped with a medical center and four towers for faculty and staff. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya on Tuesday, February 20, with Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary accompanying him for the event.
Established under the Ministry of Education in 2015 with 30 students in its inaugural batch, IIM Bodh Gaya presently has an enrolment of over 1,110 students from 293 cities and 26 states, a press release by the institute stated.
Apart from smart classrooms, the Bodh Gaya campus features a library named ‘Pragyata’ which includes Open Source Software for managing resources, and a sports complex with modern gym facilities and provisions for badminton, basketball, football, and cricket. The permanent campus is also equipped with a medical centre and four towers for faculty and staff residences.

The institute undertakes several social impact activities like Management Development Programs (MDP) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, having trained over 3000 micro-entrepreneurs while supporting ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
