Maharashtra Board MSBSHSE SSC 10th Result 2019 Date: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the result of the Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) examination (class 10) on Saturday, June 8, 2019. The results are available now at the official websites, maharashtraeducation.com, mahresult.nic.in, and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in.

There is a considerable fall in the pass percentage as last year 89.41 per cent students cleared the exam. This year, a fall of 12.31 per cent is observed in pass percentage. Out of over 16 lakh students who appeared for the exam, as many as 77.10 per cent students cleared the exam.

The Maharashtra SSC exams were conducted from March 1 to March 22, 2019. Over 16 lakh students had appeared for the exam. To pass the exam, candidates need to score aggregate 35 per cent marks in addition to scoring a minimum of 20 per cent marks in theory exam. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 89.41 per cent.
In the recently declared class 12 result, a total of 14,21,936 students appeared for the examination, out of which 12,21,159 passed the exam, taking the pass percentage to 85.88 per cent.
To curb cheating the Maharashtra board had adopted a slew of measures this year. The board had installed CCTV cameras and increased the number of invigilators in the exam.
