MSBSHSE HSC results 2016: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the HSC (Class 12) supplementary examination result today.

The candidates who appeared for the exam that was held in July 2016 can check the result on the official website -mahresult.nic.in.

The girls have outperformed boys by scoring a pass percentage of 31.53 while the boys are at 25.33. About 1,23,174 candidates registered for the exam out of which 1,21,799 have appeared. Overall 32,921 passed the examination with the pass percent of 27.03.

District-wise, a total of 32,209 appeared for the exam from Mumbai, out of which, 7063 students have passed. In Pune, 24,042 students sat for the exam out of which 6770 have cleared the supplementary exam.

The overall pass percent in science is recorded at 30 per cent, in arts, it is 25.86 per cent while in commerce, the percentage is 26.44. In vocational studies, the pass percent is 27.50.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine divisional boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education is an autonomous body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965.

The Maharashtra board had conducted the main examination between February 18 and March 28, 2016. As many as 13, 88,467 students appeared for the exam at over 2,000 centres across the state. About 7, 82,181 candidates were boys while 6, 06,286 were girls.
