About 80.94 per cent of candidates have passed this years Kerala’s Plus Two (HSC, VHSE) examination, the results for which were declared today.
The pass percentage of vocational higher secondary (VHSE) candidates is at 79.03 the students became eligible for higher education.
A total of 4,60,743 students had appeared for the examination out of which 2,14,012 were boys and 2,18,748 were girls.
About 87.72 per cent students have cleared part 1 and part 2. In higher secondary section, the pass percentage has dipped with previous year’s percentage (83.96).
While 125 students scored 100 per cent marks in the Plus Two exam, around 9,870 students scored A+ grades for all subjects. According to the news reports, Kannur district has maximum HSC pass percentage 84.86.
The ‘Save a year (SAY) examinations’ will be held from June 2 to June 8.
