
JEE Advanced Result 2021 Updates: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur today declared the JEE Advanced 2021 result. The final answer key has been released as well. The result along with the cut-off for admissions to IITs and rank lists is available at jeeadv.ac.in.
A total of 41,862 candidates have qualified in JEE-Advanced this year, of which 6,452 are girl candidates, as exam conducting body IIT-Kharagpur. Mridual Agarwal is AIR 1 scoring 348 out of 360 marks in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced. Kavya Chopra from the Delhi zone is the female topper with 286 marks out of 360. She secured AIR 98.
Candidates will need their JEE Advanced 2021 roll number, date of birth, and phone number to check their scorecard. The result will be available as a scorecard and the all India rank will also be mentioned. Based on the answer key, responses of the students, and the marking scheme the result of JEE Advanced will be prepared. In it, the marks and rank of the candidates will be mentioned.
JEE Advanced counselling and seat allotment results will be organised by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The counselling is conducted as a centralised online admission process for admission into 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 other government-funded technical institutes (other-GFTIs). JoSAA registration process will start on October 16.
Anant Lunia, a resident of Vasant Kunj, Delhi had got the third rank in the JEE Advanced 2021 result declared on Friday. Talking about his preparation during the pandemic, the topper said, "There wasn't much change in the way I studied during the COVID-19 pandemic. I got more time during the pandemic since there was no school. During this time, I focussed on subjects I was weak at. Apart from focussing on books and taking notes, giving tests, I analysed the silly mistakes I would make often and improved it," he added.
In the JEE Advanced result declared on October 15, Delhi's Dhananjay Raman secured AIR 2. Raman has been an excellent student throughout his academic career. In class 10, he cleared the National Talent Search Exam and also became the World Topper in the Astronomy Olympiad. Raman also cleared the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Exam in class 11.

Mumbai’s Kartik Sreekumar Nair secured an all India rank 7 on the JEE Advanced merit list. Nair is also the Maharashtra state topper and scored 97.4 per cent in CBSE class 12 exams. JEE Advanced topper Mridul Agarwal has created a history by scoring highest ever marks in the engineering entrance exam. Much of this success he owes to the lockdown preparation. “The lockdown helped a lot in giving me extra time. All the time spent in going to and back from school and coaching was saved. So, I utilised that time to read extra books, went through extra study material and gave more test papers,” he said.

Unlike other JEE (Advanced) toppers, Kavya Chopra the topper among girl candidates aspires to join IIT Delhi. 'I live in Delhi so I think location-wise IIT-Delhi will be convenient for me, and it is one of the best IITs in the country too. And as far as Computer Science goes, I have been very inclined towards Maths ever since I was a kid. So I want to go in that direction and I felt Computer Science came closest to that,' Kavya said. Mridul Agarwal topped in Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE Advanced 2021. He obtained 348 marks out of 360 marks. Kavya Chopra from Delhi topped among females with Rank 98. She obtained 286 marks out of 360. Last year, Chirag Falor has secured AIR 1 in JEE Advanced. He had got 352 out of 396 marks.

Applicants can now check the JoSAA counselling dates 2021 from the official website – josaa.nic.in. Authorities will commence the JoSAA registration 2021 from October 16. The online registration for candidates who will appear for JEE Advanced 2021 AAT exam will start from October 22, after the declaration of the result.
This year, a total of 1,51,193 candidates had registered for JEE Advanced 2021. Of the total, 1,41,699 had appeared and 41,862 have qualified.

Delhi girl Kavya Chopra has emerged as the topper in the female category scoring 286 marks out of 360.
