IIT JEE Advanced 2022 Result Declared Updates: NIT Rourkela to co-host JoSAA

JEE Advanced Result 2022: The registration and choice filling window has opened for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2022. The students can register on the official JoSAA website — josaa.nic.in. Candidates can register by entering their application number for JEE Advanced, password and security pin.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-Bombay) released the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2022 exam on September 11. Candidates can now check their score cards at the official JEE Advanced website — jeeadv.ac.in.

This year, R K Shishir of IIT Bombay zone is the top ranker in Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Advanced) 2022. He obtained 314 marks out of 360 marks. In female candidates, Tanishka Kabra of IIT Delhi zone is the top ranked female with CRL 16. She obtained 277 marks out of 360. A total of 160038 candidates registered and 155538 appeared for both papers, out of which 40712 candidates have qualified.

The exam was conducted on August 28 in two shifts — the morning shift was scheduled between 9 am and 12 pm, and the afternoon shift started at 2:30 pm and concluded at 5:30 pm. Candidates were then given access to the copy of their responses at 10 am of September 01, which was available for download at the official JEE Advanced website — jeeadv.ac.in. After that, the provisional answer keys were released on September 03 and candidates had time till 5 pm of September 04 to raise objections.

Now, the online registration for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2022 is open from 10 am of September 11 till 5 pm of September 12, and the tentative start of Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2022 process is September 12. The AAT 2022 exam is scheduled for September 14 (between 9 am and 12 pm) and the results will be declared at 5 pm of September 17.

JoSAA Counselling 2022: NIT Rourkela removes 75% eligibility criteria, will co-host JoSAA

NIT Rourkela who is co-hosting JoSAA 2022 has announced that it removed the eligibility requirement of 75 per cent marks or 20 percentiles in class 12 exams conducted by the respective boards. JoSAA Counselling: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering most preferred after Computer Science

JoSAA Counselling 2022: Steps to register for counselling

How to register for JoSAA counselling–

Step 1: Go to JoSAA official website -josaa.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the registration link and sign-in. 

Step 3: Enter relevant details like roll number, name, parent's name, date of birth and create a password on the candidate login page. 

Step 4: A confirmation mail will be sent to the registered ID of the candidate along with login credentials. 

Step 5: After the candidates have their application number and password they will have to complete the application form by entering their personal details, qualification, contact etc. 

Step 6: Candidates then have to upload the required documents and complete the form. 

Step 7: And lastly, preview and submit the application form.

JEE Advanced result 2022: Tougher paper leads to dip in pass percentage, qualifying cut-off marks lower than 2021
