IIM Ahmedabad launches IT Management Programme for professionals

The programme — marketed by Jaro Education (marketing partner of IIMA’s ITMSBL – CIO and CTO programme) — is designed to equip senior IT professionals with the necessary strategic and managerial acumen. The technology leadership training programme will be delivered with Jaro Education, India’s online executive education service provider.

To enrol in this programme, the participant must have received a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the terminal undergraduate (10+2+3) or postgraduate degree in any discipline and must be from senior roles rather than junior executives at the time of application for the programme.

This programme is tailored for professionals from public sector units, banks, government organisations, software firms, and large enterprises with IT functions. It is ideal for:
— Senior Professionals at CXO Levels: This programme is ideal for senior professionals at the CXO level, including Chief Technology Officers (CTO), Chief Digital Officers (CDO), Chief Information Officers (CIO), Chief Transformation Officers (CTO), Chief Information Security Officers (CISO), Heads of Digital Transformation, Vice Presidents of Digital Transformation, Heads of Strategy, and Vertical Heads in areas like Digital Strategy, Digital Product Strategy, and Digital/IT/Technology. These professionals play crucial roles in strategic leadership and decision-making, where a deep understanding of technology’s role in business transformation is essential.
— Mid to Senior Professionals at Pre-CXO Levels: This programme also caters to mid to senior professionals at pre-CXO levels who are preparing to step into leadership roles. This includes positions like Technical Heads, VP Digital Product, Digital Transformation Managers, Senior Product Managers, Digital Transformation Leaders, Deputy General Managers, General Managers, Associate Vice Presidents, as well as Consultants and Senior Consultants. These professionals seek to enhance their strategic leadership capabilities and drive digital transformation initiatives within their organisations.

At the end of the programme, eligible participants will receive a Certificate of Completion (CoC) of the Programme from IIM Ahmedabad, subject to the assessment and fulfilment of attaining overall 80% attendance.

The programme employs Blended Learning (D2D + On-Campus Experience) every Sunday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm with two on-campus modules at IIM Ahmedabad. The first campus immersion is scheduled for May 10-12, 2025, followed by a final session in November 2025.
