The institute on October 27, announced an increase in the IBPS Clerk 2025 vacancies to a total of 13,533 positions. This increase of over 3,200 posts, compared to the previous announcement, significantly enhances the selection chances for candidates across various states. The salary for IBPS Clerk 2025 starts at approximately Rs 28,000 per month, including allowances, and varies based on city classification.
Based on the vacancies to be filled during the financial year 2026-27, which will depend on the business requirements of the Participating Banks as reported to IBPS, candidates who are shortlisted will be provisionally allocated to one of the participating banks. This allocation will be based on merit and preferences, while also considering government guidelines on reservation policies and administrative needs.
