HBSE HOS results 2016: The Haryana Open School (HOS) has released Class 10 and Class 12 (CTP/ STC/ improvement) examination results on the official website. The board has conducted the exams in October 2016.
The pass percent of Class 10 exam stands at 41.47 while for Class 12, it is 42.98 per cent.
BSEH Chairman Dr Jagbir Singh informed in Class 10 exam, 43663 candidates appeared out of which, 18108 has passed. About 33937 boys appeared in the exam out of which 14605 students have cleared the exam registering a pass percent of 43.04 per cent.
Among girls, 9726 appeared out of which 3503 passed the compartment exam. The pass percentage is 36.02 per cent.
In Class 12 exams, a total of 32,294 appeared out of which 13877 have qualified. Among boys, 11004 students passed out of 25836, registering a pass percentage of 42.59. As many as 6458 girls appeared for the exam and 2873 passed it. The pass percentage is 44.49.
Unlike last year, urban students from secondary have performed better than the rural by scoring 42.67 per cent while rural students are at 41.10 per cent. In Class 12 the pass percentage is equal with the rural students registering 42.97 per cent and the urban students are at 42.98 per cent.

For secondary, a student has to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks in five compulsory subjects — Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science and Science and Technology. The sixth subject, that is, elective subjects non compulsory Sanskrit/Punjabi/Urdu/ Home Science/Physical Education/Computer Science)
Senior Secondary: A candidate shall be required to obtain at least 33 per cent marks in each subject and also the same percentage in aggregate to pass the Class 12 examination. For subjects involving practical a candidate shall have to obtain 33% in theory and practical separately.
