The Haryana Board of Secondary Education (BSEH) released the result for class 10 and 12 board exams conducted under the open school. Students who appeared for the exam can check their result at bseh.org.in. As many as 32.89 per cent candidates cleared class 10 and 28.32 per cent cleared class 12 exam.
A total of 36,378 candidates appeared for class 10 exam of which 11,963 have cleared it. Of the 22507 male students who appeared for the exam, 7609 cleared the same with a pass percentage of 33.81 per cent. While 13,871 girls appeared for the exam of which 4,354 cleared the same with a pass percentage of 31.39 per cent.
In class 12 exams, a total of 22,677 candidates appeared of which 6,421 cleared the exam. A total of 15,317 boys appeared for the exam of which 4,239 cleared the same with a pass percentage of 27,68 and among girls, 7,360 appeared while 2182 passed the board. The female candidates registered a pass percentage of 29,65 per cent in Haryana board class 12 open school exams.
Among regions, students hailing from rural areas scored better than those in urban areas in both class 10 and 12 exams. In Haryana Open Board class 10 results, rural region registered a pass percentage of 33.86 per cent followed by urban at 29.79 per cent. In class 12, 28.81 per cent rural and 27.05 per cent urban candidates cleared the exam.
Candidates can also apply for re-evaluation. The window to apply for re-evaluation will close 20 days after the declaration of result. Interested candidates can apply for re-evaluation at bseh.org.in by paying a fee.
