Inundated with queries from students and parents about the date for declaration of results after multiple rumours are doing the rounds on social media, authorities of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) have appealed to citizens not to believe in unverified information.
Even as no official date has been declared yet by the board authorities, social media messages have pegged the exam results to be released on June 1.
“We appeal the people not to spread panic amongst students and parents by spreading wrong information. Once the date is decided, we will declare it officially and it will be at least a day prior to the result date. We will release a statement on how students can access their results as well, and so there is no need for students to worry over such rumours,” said Gangadhar Mhamane, chairperson of MSBSHSE.
Mhamane added that it was expected that the results would be released at least a couple of days prior to last year’s date i.e. June 8. “Such false rumours spread panic amongst students and it must be stopped immediately. Also, even if students are not successful, they should not lose heart as they can appear for supplementary exams and once cleared, they won’t even have to lose a year,” he further said.
Once the result date is announced, we will update you on this page itself.
