To streamline the registration process for CUET (UG)‑2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has advised all eligible aspirants to update their documents well in advance of the application window.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (CUET‑UG) will be conducted in May 2026. Ahead of the application process, the agency has urged candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar details, UDID cards, and category certificates are updated. The Agency said this step is crucial to avoid discrepancies, grievances, or possible rejection of applications at later stages.
NTA will soon open the online application window for CUET‑UG 2026 registration on its official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The entrance test will be conducted for undergraduate admissions to 47 central universities and over 300 colleges across India.

Candidates must ensure that their Aadhaar card reflects the correct name, date of birth (as per the Class 10 certificate), latest photograph, address, and father’s name.
Persons with disabilities are required to keep their UDID card or disability certificate valid, updated, and renewed as necessary.
In addition, applicants should verify that their category certificate is current to avoid discrepancies, grievances, or rejection at later stages of the admission process.
CUET UG 2025 was held between May 13 and June 4 over 19 days in 35 total shifts. Instead of announcing toppers, NTA, as a first, has listed the application numbers scoring the highest aggregate NTA score in five subjects. The top five aggregate NTA scores in five subjects this year are 1225.93, followed by 1210.10, 1205.17, 1203.40 and 1200.12.
As per data shared by the NTA, only one candidate has scored 100 percentile in four out of the five opted subjects. A total of 17 candidates have scored 100 percentile in three subjects out of their opted subjects. The number of students scoring 100 percentile in two and one subject are 150 and 2,679, respectively.
NTA had released the CUET UG final answer keys on July 1. The provisional CUET UG answer keys were issued on June 17 and NTA also allowed the candidates to raise grievances against them by June 20.
