There is no limit for number of attempts in CTET. Candidates can appear in the exam as many times as they want to acquire a CTET certificate. A candidate who has qualified CTET earlier may also appear again for improving his or her score.

All the unreserved category students appearing for the exam are required to score at least 90 marks (out of the total 150 marks) or 60% in each paper to qualify for the CTET 2026.
