As the CBSE Class XII results were announced Saturday, several students scored more than 90 percent along with pursuing their passion for various sports and other activities.

With a vision in mind and a love for capturing candid moments, Simran Chhabra, a student photographer and a Model United Nations enthusiast of Sacred Heart Convent School, Sector 26, scored 91.6 per cent in the Commerce stream.

Talking about her love for photography, Simran said, “My camera has always been my best friend. And I have covered several competitions across Chandigarh in the last four years.”

Ishaan Verma, National Badminton Player

Ishaan Verma, a national badminton player and student of Delhi Public school, Sector 40, scored 96 per cent in the non-medical stream. Talking about his success, Ishan said, “I got what I had expected and I am glad that my consistency and hardwork finally paid off.”

Paras Mittal, National Badminton Player

Paras Mittal, a national Badminton player and student of Delhi Public School in Sector 40 scored 94 per cent in the Commerce stream.

“I’m glad that my hard work paid off,” he said.

Manhar Manchanda, Captain, Chandigarh cricket team

Manhar Manchanda, captain of Chandigarh cricket team and student of St John’s High School scored 93.4 per cent. While he plans to pursue Economics, he will continue to play cricket.
