CBSE 10th Result 2016: This year too, the CBSE has posted the results on net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC).

CBSE Class 10 results 2016 for all regions as well as private candidates have been declared. The results are now available on cbseresults.nic.in. The earlier report was that the results would come only by 2 pm. The CBSE pass percentage however seems to have fallen a bit.

This year also, the CBSE has posted the results on net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC). The students can access their results through following websites: http://www.results.nic.in or http://www.cbseresults.nic.in or http://www.cbse.nic.in.

CBSE Class 10 results: Pass percentage of 2016 is 96.21 as compared to 97.32 which was the pass percentage of 2015

RESULT STATISTICS :-
In total 1491293 candidates were registered for CBSE Class 10 examination this year. This amounts to an increase of about 8.5 % candidates over that of last year.

HIGHLIGHTS –
• Pass percentage of 2015 = 97.32
• Pass percentage of 2016 = 96.21
• Girls have performed better than boys. Pass percentage of girls is 96.36 as compared to that of boys at 96.11 .
• Over all pass percentage of Thiruvanathapuram Region is 99.87 which is the highest as compared to other Regions.

The schools will automatically get their results on email ids already registered with the Board. The results would also be disseminated through IVRS. The telephone numbers of NIC and MTNL through which results can be accessed through IVRS are (a) National Informatics Centre: 011 – 24300699 or (b) MTNL: 011 -28127030.

Results can also be accessed through search engine http://www.bing.com.

The Board also specified that list of candidates from schools with respect to regular candidates and application forms from private candidates for compartment/6th subject for Class XII and Improvement of Performance (Class X) examination to be held in July 2016 will be accepted online. The online application and detailed instructions regarding this will be available on Board’s website http://www.cbse.nic.in from June 10.
