Bihar Board announces DElEd Joint Entrance Exam 2025 results, 79.01% candidates pass

Bihar Deled 2025 Entrance Result: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on November 26, declared the results of the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2025. According to data shared by the BSEB, a total of 3,23,313 candidates appeared in this session’s exam, out of which 2,55,468 candidates passed, recording a pass-rate of 79.01 per cent. The Board also noted that of the total total 2.55 lakh candidates who passed, 2,54,443 candidates were from Bihar, and 1,025 from other states.

The BSEB DElEd result announcement was made by BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor at 1.30 pm at the Board’s main office located on Sinha Library Road, Patna. The official result website of the board is result.deledbihaar.com.

Furthermore, the BSEB said that there are a total of 306 DElEd educational institutions in the state, including 9 government institutions. Among these, 60 are non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and 246 are other private institutions. The total number of seats available in government institutions is 9,100, while non-government institutions offer 21,700 seats. In total, enrollment will be conducted for 30,800 seats across all 306 DElEd institutions.

The Board also shared information regarding the dates for the release of results of other examinations conducted by the committee, including the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. STET 2025 result will be declared by the second week of December.

In addition to the results, detailed information regarding the admission process to various DElEd training institutes through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) was also be made available. Successful candidates were be briefed about the next steps, including choice-filling, document verification norms, and the schedule for the allotment of training institutes. The Board is expected to release the detailed guidelines, admission calendar, and cut-off trends.

The DElEd Joint Entrance Examination is conducted annually for admission to Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) programmes offered across government and private teacher training institutions in Bihar. The exam serves as a gateway for aspirants seeking professional training before entering the elementary teaching workforce.

This year, the Board has emphasised a streamlined, transparent, and fully online admission procedure. The OFSS portal will enable candidates to submit preferences, track allotments, and complete formalities without needing to visit multiple centres.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official BSEB website once the link is activated. They are advised to keep their admit card and registration details handy for accessing the results. The Board will also issue instructions to ensure a smooth transition from result declaration to institute-level admission.
