Hirer’s Remorse
Andhra Pradesh’s ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) seems to be regretting hiring a professional to be its media face in Delhi. The reason? Promise Kept
The Congress on Thursday appointed Rajya Sabha member Akhilesh Prasad Singh as a permanent invitee to the Congress Working Committee (CWC), the party’s highest decision making body. Last month, it replaced Singh with MLA Rajesh Kumar as Bihar Congress chief. Sources said that Singh, considered close to RJD chief Lalu Prasad, was not happy with his removal from the post he had held since 2022. Sources said the party leadership, including Rahul Gandhi, had promised Singh that he would be “accommodated” elsewhere.
