Congress MP Imran Masood, however, stood out on Wednesday as he carried an oxygen cylinder. Masood apparently bought the cylinder ahead of the Winter Session. Weeks after announcing that the party will spur its activities to rejuvenate the cadres, BSP president Mayawati on Wednesday announced that she no longer will visit the memorials of prominent figures to pay tribute on their birth or death anniversaries. She said her decision was based on the fact that security arrangements create problems for her followers to reach the sites during her stay. She will instead pay homage either at her residence or party office. This comes ahead of the death anniversary of B R Ambedkar on December 6, when she was scheduled to visit Dalit Prerna Sthal in Noida to pay homage to the icon.
