Trinamool Congress leader and Transport Minister Madan Mitra on Friday once again attacked the State Election Commission and its chairperson Mira Pande. It is not possible for me to kill her (Pande). But I pray to God that she quits her job soon, Mitra told mediapersons. Accusing the poll panel of being a stooge of the CPM and the Congress,Mitra said the SEC has hatched a conspiracy so that the Opposition could win the elections. He also blamed Pande for the violence and transport woes faced by people in the state.
