Buoyed by clean chit,Raja Bhaiya to move court

“I knew I was innocent but had resigned from the Cabinet keeping in mind the image of the Samajwadi Party and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Prestige is more important than post,” Raja Bhaiya stated.

At the time of resignation,Raja Bhaiya held the portfolio of food and civil supplies.

He said during the investigation process,he cooperated with the CBI and also gave consent for a polygraph test.

“After all the investigation process,I was found innocent. I am thankful to youths across the state and people of Pratapgarh who showed solidarity with me.”

Over his relations with SP,he said : “I am with the SP,Mulayam Singhji and CM Akhilesh Yadavji. I will remain with them.”

His supporters erected hoardings in Lucknow welcoming the CBI clean chit to Raja Bhaiya. The hoardings carried pictures of Mulayam,Akhilesh and Raja Bhaiyya.

The demand for inducting Raja Bhaiya in the ministry is likely to gain ground in the SP.

When Raja Bhaiya had resigned from the Cabinet,he was accompanied by several SP legislators,an MP and other SP workers while he held press conference to announce his resignation. Asked whether he will raise this matter,Raja Bhaiya said,“I cannot comment on this as it is up to the SP leadership to decide. I am always with them.”
