WR announces special trains for festive season

With Ganeshotsav beginning on September 9,Western Railway is introducing special trains between Lokmanya Tilak terminus and Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj terminus,Kolhapur. This is to clear the extra rush of passengers during festival time,said officials. Booking for these trains will be open from Thursday.

Train number 01205 will depart from Mumbai on September 6 at 4:40 pm. It will depart from Lonavala at 7.05 pm and from Pune at 9 pm,reaching Kolhapur at 4.35 am. Train number 01206 will depart from Kolhapur on September 7 at 9.05 am. This train will depart from Pune at 7.55 pm and Lonavala at 8.55 pm,reaching Mumbai the next day at 12.20 am. The train will have a total of 17 coaches,including a one AC 2-tier,one AC 3-tier and 10 second class reserved coaches.
