Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will visit Pune in November. The British royal couple will also visit Dehradun,New Delhi,Kochi and Mumbai,in what is being termed as their most extensive India tour. While details about the trip from November 6 to November 13 are being worked out,officials said the royal couple would be undertaking a series of meeting with top political,business and cultural leaders.
They will have many engagements to promote UK-India partnership in areas such as conservation,education,growing business links,womens empowerment and training. They will also have the opportunity to celebrate religious diversity,creativity and the vibrant individual family ties between the two countries. While this would be Charless seventh visit to India,Camilla will be here the third time.
Specific events include the prince making a trip to an elephant corridor in Kerala,the duchess visiting the prestigious Doon School,and both visiting the Indian Military Academy and attending a gala dinner in Mumbai with a Bollywood flavour. They will also mark Remembrance Sunday while in India.
