A speeding Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mandal Limited bus knocked down a two-wheeler killing one Tejashri Santosh Malve,27,in front of the Sindh Society on Baner Road on Wednesday morning. The police said that Malve,a resident of Ganesh society,Shivajinagar was the faculty of MBA at MITCON Institute of Management.
The Chatuhshrungi police have booked the PMPML bus driver Amol Gundappa Bhoj (39) of Katraj. According to the police,Tejashri was on her two-wheeler going from University of Pune chowk towards Baner Road,when the PMPML bus knocked down her vehicle from the back. She was killed on the spot.
Police sub inspector S G Kolhe is investigating the case. In another incident,one Tushar Dilip Dalvi,27,of Mumbai was killed on a road accident on Guru Vaman Bridge near Urse toll naka on the Pune – Mumbai expressway on Wednesday morning. Santosh More (32),who was driving the jeep,lost control and rammed on a rock along roadside. More and co-passenger Suryakant Gavli (24),both from Mumbai,were injured in the accident.
