Investigations by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) have revealed that just two days before the serial blasts on J M Road,the top Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative Riyaz Bhatkal had an internet chat with suspect Feroz alias Humza Abdul Hameed Sayyed (38),a resident of Shukrawar Peth. The chat allegedly about execution of terror attack took place through Yahoo accounts on July 30 last year.
According to the ATS,Feroz,who ran a garments shop in Camp,had given details of his email accounts to terror operatives Bhatkal and LeT operative Fayyaz Kagzi suspected to be operating from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia respectively.
The ATS said Feroz had four email ids and one facebook account. They said Feroz admitted to using the email account email@example.com to chat with Bhatkal on email account lovelyhunk34 since May 30 last year. ATS officials logged into Ferozs email account in the presence of panch witnesses and found that he had 20 chats with lovelyhunk34.
The last chat between them was on July 30 last year.
ATS also possesses the printouts of alleged chat between Feroz and Fayyaz Kagzi. ATS officials claimed that Feroz used account firstname.lastname@example.org to chat with Kagzi on hi.dude86 id.
