To celebrate the joy of sharing,Phoenix Market City has organized a collection drive. Visitors at the mall can donate toys,books and clothes at drop-boxes placed across various points at the mall. “Doing charity is something we all want to do but at times find it difficult to find the right channel. Through this joy-of-sharing initiative we want to help the needy and deserving people along with letting Puneties feel the joy of sharing,” says Rajiv Malla,Center Director,Phoenix Market City. “Everyone may not be able to contribute monetarily, but we always have something in the house that we don’t need. Instead of throwing it away,it is best to donate,” he adds. The joy-of-sharing drive is active till July 15.

Plantation Drive

Seven thousand trees were planted in the areas of the Nageshwar Vidyalaya; Chikhali,Chakan and on the premises of the Halfkin Institute as a tribute to Maharashtra Bhushan,Late Dr. Nanasaheb Dharamadhikari. This Plantation drive was carried out under the guidance of Sachindada Dharmadhikari and Appasaheb Dharmadhikari. Other dignitaries present were Dr. Sharvay Sardeshpande,Preeti Sardeshpande and the Honourable Mayor,Mohini Tai Lande. This initiative is sure to make a measurable and a positive impact to the environment.

A Fun Day

The children at Maher orphanage had a frolicking time on July 12 as the Hanmar MSL Pune team organised a fun-filled day for the children. The children received the corporates with an aarti and a welcome song sung in chorus. A range of games and competitions were put together for the children. They were gifted notebooks,compass boxes,football,cricket equipments,and other knick-knacks. The motive behind this service was to spend quality time with these children and engage them in various fun activities. The corporates were inspired by the children’s zest for life and their indomitable spirit. They will be coming back to the NGO to organise more events like this and interact with the children.
