Symbiosis university inks pact with Deakin University to study in Australia

In keeping with the push for international collaboration in education, two new programmes will be jointly offered by Deakin University from Australia and Symbiosis International University in Pune starting 2024.

S B Mujumdar, founder and president of Symbiosis Society, and Iain Martin, president and Vice Chancellor of Deakin University, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard on Saturday.

An accelerated integrated master’s programme in Liberal Arts will be offered by the two institutes. Classes for the first seven semesters (three-and-a-half years) will be conducted at Symbiosis and in the next two years the student will complete the programme at the Deakin University campus in Australia.
