Supriya Sule meets protesting MPSC aspirants in Pune, says she will take up their demands with Maharashtra CM
Protesters want the MPSC to conduct exams to fill positions in the agriculture department along with exams for other departments.
NCP MP Supriya Sule
Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MP Supriya Sule visited Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) aspirants protesting in Pune on Wednesday and offered support to their demand for the inclusion of 258 posts from the agriculture department in the MPSC examinations.
The aspirants are also demanding that MPSC postpone the exams as its scheduled date, August 25, conflicts with the Institute of Banking Personnel Section (IBPS) exam, affecting candidates appearing for both exams. The students argued that positions in the agriculture department had been advertised long ago, and any delay in conducting the exams raises uncertainty about when they would be held. They sought the exams to fill positions in the agriculture department to be held along with the MPSC exams.
