Supriya Sule demands independent authority to tackle public woes in Hinjewadi, surrounding areas
Supriya Sule has requested Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take serious cognisance of the matter and consider taking a positive decision on her demand.
"To avoid inconvenience to the public, there is an urgent need to establish an independent authority encompassing Rajiv Gandhi IT Park, Hinjawadi, Maan, Marunji, and adjoining areas," Sule said. (File Photo/Ganesh Shirsekar) With deteriorating civic facilities becoming a growing concern for Hinjewadi residents, NCP (SP) executive president Supriya Sule has demanded an independent authority be formed to address public grievances related to the area in a timely manner. Sule has requested Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take serious cognisance of the matter and consider taking a positive decision on her demand.
“There is a significant delay in resolving infrastructure-related issues in the areas of Rajiv Gandhi IT Park, Hinjewadi, Maan, and Marunji. Citizens are compelled to follow up with multiple agencies such as Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Municipal Corporations, Metro rail, Pune Metro Region Development Authority (PMRDA), Maharashtra State Electricity Development Corporation (MSEDCL), and the Police Department, resulting in considerable loss of time and mental distress,” said Sule.
