Palshikar emphasises need for dialogue between communities

“You cannot rely on governments when there is a wave of majoritarianism everywhere. It needs introspection on the part of citizens. We must question whether we are majoritarian in linguistic, casteist, ethnic, religious terms; and… can shed that. And we must question what is feeding that majoritarianism in our life?”

PUCL clarified that it had tried to get in touch with the people of the Meitei community, but it did not materialise.
