Four deaths that have been reported are confirmed positive with COVID-19.
On Monday, 69 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Maharashtra, taking the total toll of active cases in the state to 278.
Since January this year, Maharashtra has reported 369 cases of COVID-19.
While Mumbai logged 37 new cases, Pune reported 3, Thane 12, Latur 1, and Navi Mumbai 7 fresh COVID-19 cases. Raigad and Kolhapur reported 1 new case each.

Maharashtra has stepped up surveillance to identify COVID-19 cases. From January till date, a total of 7830 samples were tested and 369 persons were detected with COVID-19.
According to an official statement, 285 persons have recovered. Presently there are 278 active COVID-19 cases in the state.
In Pune two new cases were reported on Sunday, while Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation had reported a new case on Monday. Pune Municipal Corporation officials said that all patients showed mild symptoms.
