Sakshi’s body still untraced

Efforts were on by the police along with professional trekkers and local villagers to trace her body.

THE body of 11-year-old Sakshi Ravindra Pawar from Pune,who is feared drowned after falling from Thoseghar waterfall in Satara on Sunday,was still not traced till late Tuesday evening.

Efforts were on by the police along with professional trekkers and local villagers to trace her body.

Sakshi,a student of NMV School in Pune,had gone to Thoseghar with her family on Sunday for picnic. She went to the waterfall with her uncle Arvind Pawar.

The duo slipped while clicking photographs. People around the spot managed to rescue Arvind,but Sakshi fell into the swirling waters.
