Dhruvtara,a book on cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar,was launched as an audio book on Monday to mark White Cane Day. Originally written by Sanjay Dudhane,the two-and-a-half-hour audio version also contains additional commentaries of some of Tendulkars memorable knocks. Tendulkar,who is in South Africa for ICC Champions Trophy,sent a special message and best wishes for the team in a video message which was played on the occasion. The audio book was compiled by Satish Navale,blind educational researcher; Pravin Kachva,who works for students development at the Poona School and Home for the Blind Trust,Koregaon Park; Hanumant Joshi,a teacher from Satara; Sanjay Unekhe,telephone operator,Indian Navy,Lonavala; Milind Kamble and Nita Ghorpade.
